Journalist: Adrian Bridgwater

Journalist Assignment

I have selected the journalist Adrian Bridgwater.  His title is a freelance technology journalist.  The area he normally covers is technology.  He has a background in public relations.  He also has spent the last fifteen years specializing in covering software application development.  A couple of his specialties are blogging, news reports, media training, public speaking, InDesign layout, and strategic brand positioning.  He has worked for International Data Group, Forbes, and Computer Weekly.  He has received the “pick of this year’s must-read blogs for IT professionals in the UK” award.  His emerging techniques are what set him apart from the others.  One of his articles is titled “Nutanix Tightens date Controls For Age Of Amplified Information”.  This article is about Cloud security and how much privacy we have with our data.  It provides information about the crossover between data architects and security engineers.  Nutanix and other services may be charging people extra for something that may not be needed but people tend to buy because they are afraid of their data being accessed.  Nutanix has a feature where it can block data access to files where needed.  It has so many features that people will be attracted to and want to buy.  Another article “Spacetime Software: Time Based Geospatial Data Clocks In” is about how the world tracks us with our data from our smartphones.  Nexar is a company that uses dashcams in cars to create a visual index of the world.  It is similar to Google with the street view website.   Another one of his articles is called “The New Tech Terms of 2020: From Botwashing To Zoombombing”.  This one is about how these new terms have changed the world in so many ways.  These words became so popular that they stuck with the world today
